Terms of use
Last updated 24 September 2026. These terms apply to SaccoMonitor, provided by the operator of SaccoMonitor. By registering a SACCO or signing in you agree to them.
The service
SaccoMonitor is web-based software for recording a SACCO’s members, savings, shares, loans and accounts. It is a record-keeping tool; it does not hold, move or guarantee money.
Accounts
- Each person must use their own login and keep their password private.
- The SACCO decides who receives staff access and which permissions each role holds, and removes access when someone leaves.
- You are responsible for activity under your login.
The SACCO’s responsibilities
- Entering accurate information and obtaining members’ consent where the law requires it.
- Setting products, rates, fees and approval rules that comply with its bye-laws and the law.
- Reviewing reports and financial statements before relying on them, and meeting its own regulatory reporting duties.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another SACCO’s data, interfere with the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and correct, but it is provided “as is”, and features may change as the software is improved. Planned changes that affect how you work will be communicated in advance where possible.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the operator of SaccoMonitor is not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by incorrect data entered by users, misuse of logins, or decisions made on the basis of reports.
